Do we fear the Lord? Yes. But so do the devils. And we also fear all the other little "gods" we have put in high places of there own. Our works will show who we fear and love.

"They feared the Lord, and served their own gods,"
2 Kings 17:33a (KJV)
So these nations feared the Lord, and served their graven images, both their children, and their children's children: as did their fathers, so do they unto this day.
2 Kings 17:41 (KJV)
Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
James 2:19-20 (KJV)

  1. This is awesome. It's an awesome point, and one that I've been thinking on quite a bit lately. People do tend to fear things that they needn't. If you let something take over your life (even if it is something physical; like a possession), then you give that thing power over you. Then you fear losing it. That fear is less than healthy. But I believe that having fear in The Lord is healthy. After all, He does have complete power. Such a cool post!
