The First Resurrection

And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the devil, and satan, and bound him a thousand years,
And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was upon given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus and for the Word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

May We Not Be As The Dew

So shall we come upon Him in some place where He shall be found, and we will light upon Him as the dew falleth on the ground: and of Him and of all the men that are with Him there shall not be left so much as one.
2 Samuel 17:12 (KJV)
O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away.

Jesus Spent Time In The Presence Of His Father

And He withdrew Himself into the wilderness, and prayed.
Luke 5:16 (KJV)
And it came to pass in those days, that He went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
Luke 6:12 (KJV)
And it came to pass as He was alone praying,
 Luke 9:18a (KJV)
And it came to pass, that, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, one of his disciples said unto Him, Lord teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.

A Virtuous Woman, A Woman Who Fears The Lord

Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies.
The heart of her husband doth safely trust her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
She seeketh wool, and flax and worketh willingly with her hands.
She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
She considerith a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
She girdeth her loins with strength and strengtheneth her arms.
She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.
Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
She maketh fine linen and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
Strength and honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.
Giver her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

The Lord Abode Upon The Mount

And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.
Exodus 19:16 (KJV)
And Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount.
And the glory of the Lord abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.
Exodus 24:15-16 (KJV)

Light Of The World

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.
Neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is heaven.
Matthew 5:14-16 (KJV)
